My previous note on AOP does not mention all the nasty stuff in existing AOP implementations, and the abundance of unsubstantiated / off-base claims made for AOP: replaces inheritance, will glue components, the whole introduction thing, and as a provider of service-oriented infrastructure (!). I'm restricting myself to criticising the more mainstream stuff. |
