I'm back in London. Last week I presented my thesis at PLAS in Brisbane, it went OK but I had some technical problems. Luckily I had a screencast¹ that allowed me to show a live-like demo . I'm going to leave the remaining thesis work for the moment and finish it off when I move to the US next week. Longer term, I hope to have a packaged up version of my project that can be easily installed ready as soon as I am clear on the licensing and deployment of the DSL Tools. ¹Dominic has put together an F# unit testing screencast and a screencasting howto that are worth checking out.

Flight from London was pretty painless, now I'm in Sydney. Early AM here so I am catching up on email and posts. I just got the announcement email for my final seminar.

I bought this Fred Scott Supporto chair on ebay this week. I believe iPod designer Jonathan Ive has cited it as a favourite object. The back looks like an iPod.
